About the Brunner & Beauvais, LLC
We have spent our lives developing and promoting the all around quarter horse and firmly believe that the optimal quarter horse should be balanced, good minded and athletic enough to work and compete across numerous disciplines.
The Brunner & Beauvais, LLC continues a legacy of horsemanship into a fourth generation. Our love of the horse started with John D. Hoar, a father of five and western South Dakota rancher. He was our beloved father and grandfather, but he was also the one that provided the foundation knowledge, horse sense and eye for a good animal. In his time, as today, a good horse was valued and appreciated.
Patty Brunner has owned and operated Brunner Quarter Horses with her late husband Don in Rapid City, South Dakota for over 30 years. Their primary focus has been the development of quality quarter prospects with many offspring rising to competitive status at all levels of the industry. Together they raised two AQHA Champions, a Superior Halter Horse, AQHA World and Select World Qualifiers, and the earner of numerous CONQHA, SDQHA, and WQHA award winners. Patty has served as an officer or board member of the South Dakota Quarter Horse Association, Center of the Nation Quater Horse Association, Wyoming Quarter Horse Association, Rapid City Quarter Horse Association, Black Hills Riding Club and continues to promote Brunner & Beauvais, LLC stock in the Rapid City area.
Patty's son, Brad Beauvais, resides in New Braunfels, Texas. Brad spent his childhood involved with the breeding, development and promotion of quarter horse prospects in the Rapid City area. After over twenty years of military service in the United States Army, he now actively serves as a professor at Texas State University in San Marcos, TX. Brad also serves on the American Quarter Horse Association Public Policy Committee. Brad is joined in Texas by his wife Nancy and three daughters Cara, Karissa & Cierra. In the past several years, Brad's daughters have successfully shown Brunner & Beauvais, LLC offspring to AQHYA Championhips with "Diggin That TLB" and a NSBA Reserve World Championship in NY Hunt Seat Equitation with "Art I Tuff""
