The Happy Horse Haus is close to I-90, the Hwy-79 Heartland Express, the beautiful Black Hills, Central States Fairgrounds & the Rapid City Airport. Our new and updated facility is an excellent layover spot offering access to local equine events as well as all eastern and western destinations.

Coggins & health papers are required. We will ask you for them before you unload.

The Happy Horse Haus offers:

 

• F ive 12' x 12' matted stalls with shavings  @ $35 per horse per night

​

• Covered & uncovered turnouts (weather permitting) @ $25 per horse / night.

​

• Access to a 75 x 100 outdoor arena is available @ $20 per horse / night and is a good place for your horses to stretch their legs after a long day on the road.

​

• Bunkhaus (sleeps 2 comfortably) available for $80/night and showers for day campers at $10 each.

​

• 30 amp & 50 amp RV hookups connections are available for $35/night.

​

• All pens are newly installed six rail smooth continuous fence making for an ultra safe environment for your horse.

​

• Our water quality is excellent. We seldom, if ever, have a horse that doesn't want to drink our water.  

​

• Pets are welcome. Advance notice is requested.

​

• Advance notice and reservations are requested. But if you're in a pinch, call and see if we have room. ​

​

• We live on site and a vet is available within 1 mile.
